9/11 Commemoration 25 Years Later

A Quarter Century of Grief, Resilience, and Unanswered Questions As the United States commemorated the 25th anniversary of the 9/11 terrorist attacks, collective grief was palpable once again.

Ceremonies were held in New York, at the Pentagon, and in Shanksville, Pennsylvania, where the hijacked planes ultimately crashed, killing nearly 3,000 people.

The scale of the tragedy is still awe inspiring, even two and a half decades later.
